A free RedHat serif font which is metric-compatible with Monotype's Times New Roman. The Liberation Serif
can be used as a substitute for Times New Roman, Thorndale, Nimbus Roman and Bitstream Vera Serif. It includes regular, italic, bold and bold italic versions. The Liberation fonts are available under the GNU General Public License.
